Tafraout, a unique excursion … quite different from the others …! small town in the Anti Atlas, with traditional architectural style, and ancestral; remains an ideal place to visit in southern Morocco. This small town enjoys a beautiful and remarkable geographical position in the heart of the Anti-Atlas mountain range, giving it the ideal proximity to other villages in the region.

Logistics & Details

Departure from your hotel at 07:30 in the morning, cross the plain of Souss. We arrive at the foot of the Anti Atlas; spectacular mountains, green valleys, and flowering, especially in January / February when the almond trees are in bloom, lunar landscapes do not stop to take your breath away (abnormal and strange form of pink granite, lion’s head, hat Napoleon, painted rocks, etc …). Stops, and break photos at will ….!

At lunch time, we address to one of the most typical restaurants in the area; beautiful places, where we will be served chicken tajines or meat garnished with grilled almonds; specialty of the region. (Menu price around 10 euro / person).

The visit of Tafraut continues, but this time towards the city of Tiznit; (city silver filigree jewelry), during this tour, each turn shows us another landscape of different aspect …… it is a mysterious phenomenon! Coffee break at the kerdous pass at 1100m, or simply stop to admire the panoramic view, and breathe the fresh air of the Atlas Mountains.

Once arrived at Tiznit … Tower walls; a small walk in the alleys of the medina , visit the cooperative of jewelery .

Return to Agadir around 19:00.
